Acuvue TruEye Discontinued
Supply chain issues led to a lot of problems, and unfortunately they caused Acuvue to discontinue TruyEye. Johnson & Johnson recently announced that they will discontinue their popular Acuvue TruEye contacts next year.
When will TruEye be discontinued?
Acuvue will discontinue TruEyes in the US starting on April 1st, 2023. You still have time to discuss replacements with your doctor, but don’t delay! You don’t want to be stuck without contacts. If you aren’t sure what new lens to pick, we have some recommendations below.
Why is TruEye discontinued?
Just like other manufacturers, contact lens manufacturers are suffering from supply chain issues and can’t get their raw materials in time to meet production goals. A lot of orders have been taking weeks to fill because Acuvue just doesn’t have any backstock. They are discontinuing TruEye so they can focus on their more popular or newer products.
How do I stock up on Acuvue TruEye?
You can purchase Acuvue TruEye until April 1st, 2023. Order your lenses as soon as possible if you want to stock up!
